On Saturday 27 May 3pm, all are welcome to St Martin’s Killara to hear some of Australia’s most exciting musicians perform JS Bach’s magnificent Ascension Oratorio, free to attend. The Sydney Bach Project, seeks to perform these rarely-heard works each month in churches across Sydney. The performance will be paired with the organ chorales, preludes and Bible readings each cantata was composed to be paired with.

Musicians from Australian Brandenburg, Sydney Symphony Orchestra, Pinchgut Opera and Bach Akademie Australia join to present this exciting programme. After the concert, supper will be provided in the church hall for all those attending.
